Janavasam

Janavasam is a Hindu wedding tradition where the groom is taken for a procession in an open car accompanied by his entire family along with the team nadhaswaram and thavil to a temple near the wedding hall. The main purpose of Janavasam is to introduce the groom to everyone around the town, after getting the blessings from the temple, the groom along with his family is received by the bride and the bride’s family as they entire the wedding hall together. Here we are sharing a series of images shot in the temple town Madurai during a Tamil Brahmin wedding.

Family documentary

Indoor kids portrait sessions

We have documented literally all the important moments in Noah’s life, this casual, indoor shoot was part of our first ever video documentary titled “documenting Noah” that we shot on the first week of this month, currently, we are in the editing process and the first episode from the long term planned documentary will be published by the end of this month.

Due to the current situation, we had to shoot indoors and took this shot completely inside his home following all precautions. We had shot plenty of indoor shoots in this testing times and time and again we have convinced that we can produce a bunch of good memorable images even inside four walls, though a great landscape can change the mood the of the images completely, we still have space of beautiful images and storytelling options inside the four walls.

Stay tuned for the first episode of “documenting Noah” that our hit will be published on our website and on all the social media handles of ours!

Multicultural Weddings

Multicultural Wedding photographers in Chennai

Love is in the air and it doesn’t see cast, creed or religion! Once the hearts unite, the next bigger step is to unite the families. Marriages within the same communities have their own flavors and challenges. It’s no exception to multi-cultural weddings, right? Except that more feathers are added the hat.

These marriages include many varieties like the wedding happening twice at different timings, one after the other on the same day or even blending other the culture in a single wedding. Whatever the option could be, as far as there is love and a sense of celebration – that is all that matters.

One thing guaranteed is that the guests would feel very intrigued to see the versatile rituals and can’t take eyes off the ceremony which usually is not the case in regular weddings where they enjoy the music more than the wedding.;)

Not just to the guests, but it will be fun the intimate family members who are planning as well. After all, it helps to understand each other’s culture on a deeper level.  Not to miss, it’s time to taste different cuisine.

Just like any other wedding, this is one fabulous memory for the bride, groom, and the family. It all ends up in having fond memories of feeling love and inclusiveness – isn’t a marriage is all about this?

An Indo-German Wedding: Our first ever multicultural wedding, we were as excited as the bride and groom. The wedding was held in traditional Tamil wedding rituals and the effort and the sincerity the bride’s family showed was unbelievable. One of the images we shot during the couple portrait session won us our first-ever international award that was for couple portrait awards.

An Indo-Chinese Wedding; Though we were not the official photographers for this event, we ended up shooting some beautiful moments for the bride and groom, we were assigned by Andrea’s creations who was behind the beautiful decors in the Church followed by a reception in a star hotel to get the glimpse of the decor and the wedding were which was designed by them.

A beautiful Indo-Chinese wedding!

Multicultural doesn’t always mean wedding from 2 different countries, in a country like India which is extremely diverse or the most diverse culture in the whole world were traveling every 100 kilometers, the wedding culture will be completely different even a wedding of people from 2 different states decides to get married.

In the end, we are all different colours to compliment a single frame!
